Client Catholic Mutual Group Building The church addition was built in 1999 and measures approximately 60 feet x60 feet. Scope of Service Encompass was retained to identify salvageable portions of the building's structural system following a roof collapse above the addition part of the church. Description It was found that the east wall, interior partition walls, twelve roof trusses, and the carport had remained structurally sound and did not require replacement. All of the trusses in the roof assembly, except the twelve on the east end, needed to be demolished. The twelve, however, still needed to be removed due to damage to the bearing walls. The West, North, and South walls needed to be removed and replaced. The foundation remained re-usable. |
