Client JE Dunn Construction Building The Mist is a three-building complex. The structural system generally consists of post-tensioned concrete floors supported by concrete columns and a reinforced concrete cast-in-place foundation. Metal studs with batt insulation are used for the exterior walls. The facade material, which varies by location, consists of brick, stucco, metal panel, or fiber cement panel. Scope of Service The scope of the review consisted of an evaluation of available drawings pertaining to the building's exterior envelope. Description Specific design issues addressed included moisture intrusion prevention details, material compatibility, and differential movement of the various building components. |
