Client Washington County Transportation Building The 54,000 square foot North Service Center/Library located in Forest Lake, Minnesota and the 42,000 square foot South Service Center located in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Scope of Service Encompass, Inc. was retained to provide envelope commissioning, document review, and construction observation services. Description Services provided include: Review of architectural/structural progress drawings and specificationso Review of materials and details related to the exterior building envelope including masonry, stonework, pre-cast concrete, windows, and roof systems Report summarizing document review analysis and recommendations Markups of recommended detail revisions Attendance at key project and progress meetings with the Architects, Engineer, and Contractoro Periodic inspection of construction activities Prepare an ongoing deficiency list during construction to provide a punch-list document to be used to correct potential problems in a timely manner Provide recommendations for testing frequency, types of tests, review of test results, and recommend any corrective actions directly to the owner Photo documentation of construction progress and final results Final inspection of complete exterior envelope Preparation and submission of final project report to owner.
